The Undiscovered Beauty of Odisha "Paradise Behind Clouds"
Often the places with a spotlight attract tourists, but what if I told you there are places that are undiscovered by the mainstream media, where you can feel the peace of nature and at the same time go on an adventure never experienced before.
While there are many places to visit, however, today we will focus on the little town behind the clouds, Koraput, which I call "Paradise Behind Clouds". So let's begin our little journey inside the beauty of Koraput.
The Shunned Places
There are many wonders to see but there are also so many shunned places to explore. Koraput entails many such places inside it however not many people have heard about it. These places are either not discovered by the mainstream media or rather they are being ignored by them. These places could be the face for tourism and enhance the experience of the visitors by a very large margin. Let's see some of the places which are left behind for no reason.
The Table Mountain
The name "Table Mountain" came from the structure of the mountain which is flat like a table. The place is near Railway Colony, Koraput which is approximately 1km away from the Railway Station. It is easily accessible by road with the help of 2 wheelers or you can choose to trek as well. The scenery from the peak is magnificent, surrounded by clouds with trees underneath the clouds. The Kolar Dam's water channels are also visible which complements the scenery.
Putsil
Putsil is near the village Pendajam, which is approximately 60km away from Koraput Town. The mountain hill is beside Deomali, which is the highest peak of Odisha. Putsil recently became a little famous as more people started visiting this amazing place during monsoon season, during which the scenery is the most beautiful out of all other seasons. The place is accessible by 2-wheelers as well as 4-wheelers by road.
The Salur Ghat
Everyone likes road trips, the ghat in between Koraput and Visakhapatnam is one the most beautiful places you will experience when going to Visakhapatnam. During the monsoon, majestic clouds surround the mountains, with small waterfalls alongside the road. Free of pollution you can spend the night in a tent, or enjoy the ride.
Final Words
The world is full of amazing places, we should try to visit as many as we can in our lifetime. One never comes with memories but should go with memories. Follow our blog on Wix for more such posts.
